
Alka-Seltzer | Hangover Relief Product Launch
There's no question hangovers suck. That's why when Alka-Seltzer released Hangover Relief in summer 2022, we linked up with T-Pain to rewrite the Alka-Seltzer jingle and challenge TikTokers and Instagrammers to a Duet.
In the summer of 2022, Alka-Seltzer officially launched their new Hangover Relief tablets to help provide relief for your epic night. With Alka-Seltzer being synonymous with an older generation, my team revamped the brand's playbook, social presence, and strategy to appeal to a younger demographic. To help kick this off, we concepted a campaign that partnered with T-Pain to redo the classic Alka-Seltzer jingle from 1951.
The result wasn't just another hit song from T-Pain, but a campaign that reached TikTok and Instagram users with a Duet/Remix challenge and a roll out of content over a three-month period.
My role as Digital lead for Bayer was to deveop an organic roll-out strategy and collaborate with our paid media team on roll-out, optimization, and paid strategy. In addition, I implemented our content calendars and trackers, ensuring our social media managers stayed on schedule for content launch. When the campaign was over, I worked with our analytics team to develop a recap report with takeaways and next steps as we integrated Hangover Relief content into our current and future calendars.
